Well, straight from the mouth of Lakers guard and the union president, Derek Fisher, came the thoughts on the owner's last offer. Its not a doable deal as far as the player's union is concerned. That was said upon receipt of the last deal to the players from the owners. The deadline for coming to an agreement on a deal before the next major cancellation of a chunk of games, is today at 5pm. In fact,the owners threaten to go backwards on the agreement at 5pm if players do not accept. Without getting to deep into the specifics, its not looking good for us, the fans, who are wanting to just get the season under way. Hopefully something good will come from the meeting going on at this present hour. We will know shortly if we'll have to just live with a lil NFL action on Christmas or have some good ole' NBA action to enjoy under our trees this holiday. We will definitely keep an eye on it.

Dooms Day? Deadline For Labor Agreement....Today
