Will Kobe Be A Go For The Christmas Opener?

In monday night's pre-season opener for the L.A. Lakers vs. The Clippers, Kobe Bryant suffered a injury to a ligament in his wrist on a drive to the basket.  He was examined by Dr. Steven Shin that said this injury could sideline Kobe for two to three weeks. That would put him on the sidelines for the highly anticipated season opener on Christmas day vs. the Bulls. It pretty much will come down to Kobe and coach Mike Brown, if Kobe plays or not. The best thing for this type of injury is rest for the wrist but knowing Kobe and the "warrior" mentality, he'll be suited up on Sunday. The flip side to that is, this is a nagging, lingering type of injury and if not rested properly it could plague him all season long. Remember Kobe fans, its his shooting wrist, so he might want to go ahead and get that rest in now! That would take away from the allure of that Christmas Day match-up though! Oh well, we'll see!!!!
