Coach K Ties The The Ultimate Record...902!

Saturday November 12th, 2011 marks the day that Coach K tied his former coach and mentor, Bobby Knight, for the record of most games won in NCAA Division 1 basketball at 902! This game was won in Cameron Indoor Stadium against smaller program Presbyterian ending in a 92-55 rout. An incredible feat for anyone to ever even dream of reaching, 902 has come with seemingly lots of time left on Coach K's coaching clock which will result in him surpassing the record by far. Coach K has had an amazing career at Duke starting from 1980, when they almost wanted to send him packing after year one. He has done it with   integrity, presenting the game in a pure form. A system of excellence by way of hard work. Often time mentioned for running a clean cut program, Coach k is proof that the right way can succeed. At a time where collegiate athletics have little to smile at, Duke Basketball is a ray of light in the dark game of college sports today. He will have the opportunity to break this remarkable record Nov.15th against the Michigan St. Spartans with the whole world watching. So as he embarks on 903, hate him or love him, lets all pay homage to the incredible, coach of all coaches, the mayor of the final four himself, Coach Mike K!!!!
